The Wilderness Society reported that "The Bush administration has no interest in environmental protection. In a ferocious three-year attack, the Bush administration has initiated more than 200 major rollbacks of America's environmental laws, weakening the protection of our country's air, water, public lands and wildlife." The Washington Post, Sportfishing Magazine, Green Watch, Save the Bay, Defenders of Wildlife, and far many more organizations report example after example of Bush Administration failures to protect the Nations resources.

Each of us bears some responsibility to insure that we leave to our children an environment that can sustain life. The wholesale decimation of fish stocks and habitats must cease or the ecosystem is at the risk of collapsing. We cannot wait for the White House to act.

Here is what you can do: join RFA, ask friends and neighbors to join MSSA, write your Senators to support Sen. Ted Stevens' (R-Alaska) bill to improve fisheries management, use circle hooks, and only keep what you eat.
