President's Message
by Dave Griffin

Merry Christmas to All:
Our December meeting will be very informal, but informative. This is an opportunity for members to reflect on the past year, things that were good and things that need to be changed, and make suggestions for the upcoming year. We have a tentative calendar of events for 2005, but that can changed to meet our member's needs.

Please make your plans for our annual dinner meeting in January. This is a great way to start off the New Year, and comes at a perfect time when we have all slowed down from the Christmas time hustle. It's also a great time to bring spouses, family and guests. As always, we will have some great door prizes and a 50/50 drawing. Also, at the dinner meeting, we will swear in (or swear at) the new officers and board members. So please don't wait until the last minute to make reservations, see Steve Shechtel or Chuck Mullaney at the December meeting.

On the personal side, I have served as president of the Frederick chapter for almost 6 years and in the last year I've had to shirk many of my duties due to other responsibilities. Luckily, we have a great staff that has picked up the balls that I've dropped along the way. Though I will no longer be president next year, I will serve as chairman of our board of directors and I expect to become more active in the chapter as I was previously. I thank all of our officers, directors, and chairpersons who have really been the ones responsible for the success of this chapter. I look forward to seeing everyone at the December meeting!

See you at the meeting.
Dave Griffin
