Nominations for officers & Directors Anyone interested in being nominated as an Officer or Director of the Frederick Chapter must inform Dave Griffin, or a member of the nominating committee of there interest before the Sept. Any Member in good standing, whom has been in the Frederick Chapter for six (6) months or more is eligible. If you are not involved, you have no room to complain. Remember, your involvement makes our Chapter great.

January Dinner Meeting:
Yes, it is that time again that we start planning for the January dinner meeting. This year's dinner is scheduled for Jan. 12, 2005. Please submit your suggestion for a location to Maureen Appleby or Stephen Shechtel. We must place our reservation by Nov., so the Oct Board Meeting is the cut off date. We are looking for good food, good prices & a facility that will accommodate 100 people, & the facililty should be within a 20 minute drive of the intersection of Rte 15 and 340. If you are interested in assisting the Dinner Committee, please contact Stephen Shechtel.

By Laws:
At the request of the Board of Directors, a proposed set of Chapter By-Laws were drafted. The By-Laws have been under revision for several months, & a final draft is to be considered by the Board. After the By-Laws are approved by the Board of Directors, they will become the model that will be used for all future elections of officers, directors, & for conducting chapter business. Everyone is encouraged to attend the next board meeting to discuss & vote on this important matter.

Special Thanks:
are in order for the following businesses who are supporting this year's King Mackrel Tournament:
Freeman's Discount Bait & Tackle

Sundowner Motel
Capt. Stacy's Fishing Center

King Mackerel Tournament
T-Shirt Committee:
Anyone interested in assisting in obtaining the T-Shirts for the October King Mackerel trip, please see Stephen Shechtel. Your help is needed to assist in the contacting sponsors & obtaining artwork.
Next Meeting

August 11th 2004:

Menu: Food will be available starting at 6:30pm, so come early.

Speaker:
Our Speaker this month will be Craig Banks of Pocomoke City,
Maryland just outside of Chincoteague. Craig is a diehard fisherman & runs the website daybreakfishing.com in his spare time. The site is a wealth of information. Craig can always be counted on for a great presentation. Although Captain John Nedelka of the Charter Boat "Karen Sue" out of Indian River Inlet, Delaware could'nt make the meeting, he's sending a captjohnsezchunk so we can demo it's capabilities in making a flat of butterfish disappear in 10 min. I know at least one of our members has one so ask Bud Wildman what he thinks of it next time or better yet see a demo at the August Meeting. For more information see them at captjohnsezchunk.com or call 302-539-1359. John specializes in both tuna & bottom fishing charters. You can also email them at:
