President's Message
by Dave Griffin
As I sit here looking out the window at the snow and ice covered ground, it's hard to write this article. My poor boat has been subjected to the elements. No, I have not had time to put on the winter cover. Well really, I've been distracted
by another woman and my boat should be mad as hell. To think I have let the snow and ice cover her up, am I insane or just in love? It must be love as I will be getting married later this year to a lovely woman and my priorities have run aground. The boat is now giving me dirty
looks and I'm not sure if it will start for me in the spring. Anyway I'm rambling again, I tend to do this now that I'm approaching the golden years.
Enjoy all of the upcoming shows. Maybe I'll see you there once I get
permission to go (I did tell you I was getting married). Anyway the chapter will be busy over the next couple of months with plenty of fishing information, tournaments and great raffle prizes. Make sure to get here early, as you can help me shovel off the boat and put on the cover.
I mean, we will have vendors for the next couple of months and will have everything from shads to tackle for sale.
