Report from Bill's Fishing
Shack
By Bill Johnson

The sky was beautiful, weather pleasant, and I was knee deep in 40" rockfish. When I came to my senses, I was on the "Dotty Vee" with Captain Bruno Vasta with 3-4 seas, wind 15-20 out of the southwest and the rockfish had lockjaw. Some captains were running to Buoy 72 and chumming for rockfish but the bite was on & off. Rockfish have shown up at Point No Point. I've heard of trout being taken at the Patuxent River and seeing is believing and I haven't seen them. Bottom fishing at the Patuxent River for whitefish has been on & off. Hopefully by the next chapter meeting on November12, the adult stripers will be back in the mid and upper bay.
For the latest fishing reports, call the Fishin' Shack at 410-326-1891.

Anyone interested can call me at the Fishing' Shack.
