President's Message
by Dave Griffin

The weather & fishing could have been a little better for our 4th Annual King Mackerel Tournament but it was still a great trip. Many thanks to those who helped out with the planning, cookouts & transporting of our equipment Please note that next years trip will be on the 2nd full week of October, not the first.

We have about 60 people signed up for our January dinner meeting, which will be held at the Cracked Claw on Jan. 14. Be sure to see Maureen at the November meeting to make your reservations & pay. While many of us will be winterizing our boats in the next month, there are some who will be taking advantage of the great fishing at the CBBT & North Carolina. If you are planning a winter fishing trip, share your plans with us, as I'm sure there are others who would like to join in, but may not know where to begin to plan one of these trips.

We don't have it nailed down yet, but hope to have Frank Derringer from Mid-Shore Electronics here for our November meeting. Many of you will remember the informative & entertaining talk he did last year. We've had many requests to have him back. But even if he's not able to make it, we'll have some great food & discussion about some of next year's events. Your input will help us put together the 2004 Calender of Events which should be available at the January dinner meeting. Hope to see you all at the November meeting.
Next Meeting - Nov. 12, 2003
