Annual Frederick Chapter Spring Rockfish Tournment Rules
Dates: May 14 - 16 2004
Location/Weight-in: Comfort Inn and Beacon Marina in Solomons, Maryland
Weigh-in Time: 6:30 pm on Friday and Saturday 5:00 pm on Sunday
If you are ALSO fishing the Main MSSA tournment, you may check your fish at any Main MSSA weigh in location according to the Main MSSA guidelines. You must also provide the original Main MSSA yellow check in receipt to a MSSA Frederick Chapter officer by May 22, 2004 or
it bring to our MSSA Frederick Chapter weigh in.
If you are ONLY fishing the MSSA Frederick Chapter Tournament, you must bring the fish to the chapter weigh-in station at the Comfort Inn's Beacon Marina by 6:30 pm on Friday and Saturday and by 5:00 pm on Sunday.
Entry Fee: $50.00/boat by April 14, 2004
$75.00/boat after April 14, 2004
Last day for sign-up - May 5, 2004 at our Chapter meeting.
Rules:
Boat Captian must be a MSSA Frederick Chapter member.
Species: Rockfish only as determined by length.
Only one day needs to be fished to be an official tournament.
You can check-in your fish all 3 days.
Only one place per boat.
Unless noted, we will follow the Main MSSA Spring Tournament Rules.
Cash Prizes: for 1st 2nd and 3rd place for rockfish only as determined by length.
Marina: Beacon Marina is associated with the Comfort Inn and is located directly behind the motel. Call Doug Neeley at 410-394-1472 for a slip reservation. The
boat ramp is located under the Rt 2 bridge. There is a nominal fee to use the boat ramp and they have room for trailer parking.
Accommodations: Discounted rooms ($70/night) are available at the Comfort Inn's Beacon Marina in Solomons, Maryland. Call 410-326-6303 and the reservations are under the group name: Frederick MSSA.

Cookout: The MSSA Frederick Chapter will host a cookout Friday night at 6:30pm at the Comfort Inn. The cookout is free for MSSA Frederick Chapter members. Anyone else is welcome with a $5 donation.
