MSSA Frederick Chapter Flounder Tournament Regulations

1. Date: - May 19 - 21, 2006
   
   
2. Entry Fee: $50 (Early Bird Fee) $75 after April 12.
   Entries close after May 10 meeting.
   
   
3. Tournament Date And Location: May 19 - 21, 2006 - Chincoteague, VA
   Headquarters & weigh-in will be at Captain Bob's Marina.* Boats must be launched or leave from Chincoteague ports.
   
   
4. Species: Flounder only. Winners will be determined by total weight of 4 fish.
   Virginia flounder regulations yet to be determined.
   Boats limited to 4 adult (age 16 or over) anglers.
   
   
5. Weigh-In: Weigh in: Times - Friday & Saturday 4:00 pm and Sunday 1:00 pm
   Entrants must be in line with fish by weigh in time!
   
   
6. Total Fish: A total of 4 fish per day may be checked in. You may replace fish each day, however any new fish checked in will replace previously weighed fish.
   
   
7. Weather: All participants agree to accept full responsibility for their boat & passengers, and use their discretion in decisions regarding the safety of all concerned.
   
   
8. Prizes: Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 places @
   1st place - 50%
   2nd place - 30%
   3rd place - 20%
   
   
9. Accommodations: Rooms available at Sea Hawk Motel, Maddox Blvd., phone # 757-336-6527, e-mail: and ask for Carey or Brenda. They have been supporters of the Frederick Chapter for many years.
   
   
10. Dinner: There will be a buffet dinner on Friday at 7:00 pm at Maria's Restaurant on Maddox Blvd. Price is $15.00 including non-alcoholic beverages, tax & gratuity, and raffle ticket for a rod/reel combo. We will also do a 50/50 drawing.
    
    
11. Chapter communications: will be on VHF channel 71.

This tournament is designed to have fun fishing and enjoy the fellowship of other members.
